Rain is gone

What a rainy week we had. Monday we had local flooding around. The cow pasture behind our house was covered. We heard the river down the street from us(1 mile or so) was above flood stage. We are fine though-no flooding in town or anything. Monday afternoon we went to a movie at the library. The bakway home was closed due to high water. Allen had Scouts. He had a fun meeting. Looks like they have a few events coming up soon.

Tuesday

Much nicer day. Laura had art class. After lunch the kids and I walked down the path to the bridge. Laura and Allen had gone there yesterday on their bikes but cuoldn't get all the way because of the water was over the bridge. Much lower today. We could get all the way there excpet for a few huge puddles. They had fun riding their bikes through the puddles. until Joey fell off his scooter and got soaked. Then they decided THAT looked like fun so they were all running through the puddles. It was fun to watch!! They had a great time. Laura also had Brownies last night. The boys and I played at the school playground while she was in her meeting.
