Friday was the Solemnity of the sacred Heart of Jesus. We made it to Mass. I was very happy and the kids were good. One of the promises if you follow the Sacred heart is - peace in the family. We will be learning more about the 12 promises in the coming weeks.
After mass we went to Walmart. Allen needed some camping supplies for this weekend.
Later in the day we walked(well-Joe, Anthony and I walked, Laura and Allen had their bikes) to town. We stopped at the bridge to see all the turtles. Today we saw a very big one, as well as about 8 little ones. Then on to the post office, where we finally mailed Janna's new baby- Matthew, a gift and a small gift for David who will be 2 soon. Then we went to the Farmers Market. There was only one vendor there. We bought a few cucumbers and yellow squash. Then we stopped by the gas station for an ice cream. We went to the school playground and played for a short time-not too long cause it was HOT!
