On Sunday, the kids and I went to 9:00 mass. Then Allen and Allen stayed for a boy scout fundraiser, selling chicken dinners after masses. Then the other kids and I came back to church at 1:00 for the May Crowning. My Allens went home and we participated in the event. The kids had flowers for Mary and the church was packed. Fr. Melmer was very happy, especially as it was his 17 year anniversary of being a priest! Anthony was asleep the whole time and Joey fell asleep during the recitation of the rosary. It was a very nice event. At the end of the ceremony Joey and Anthony woke up so we went up to the statue so they could still present their flowers. This year it was in honor of Mary of LaSalette. After the ceremony there was a small reception with cake and punch.
Then right on to soccer games. Joey changed in the car and made it there just in time. He did good and scored 3 goals for his team. Allen's game started while Joey's was still going so Allen went with him to watch. We joined after Joey's game. Allen played well also. His wrist was doing much better. We got a call Monday morning that there was no fracture-which we kinda figured out by now anyways!!
Laura had soccer practice Monday night. They had fun as always.
