Taylor is 1!!!

Sunday afternoon was a special day. We all went down to Terri and Nick's house to celebrate Taylor's First Birthday. She was all dressed up in a cute yellow dress and as happy as can be. She ate meat for the first time. She loved the ribbons on her presents. Her daddy held her, while her mommy videotaped it all. She liked some of the clothes she got, she thought they were soft and wouldn't let go. After presents was cake time. We sang Happy Birthday. She got her own special birthday cake. She loved that! She started out carefully picking a piece at a time. Then she got into it and had icing all over her face, hands and arms. Everyone stood around watching her eat her cake. For a short time we thought she might fall asleep in her cake, but then she started being wide awake again(guess the sugar kicked in-ha ha!) She was certainly in a good mood her whole party. We bought her a little pretend cake with toys inside. It said "My First Birthday" on it and we put a picture of her in it. Wow- a year goes by so fast!!!
