Change of Plans

With all the rain last week, our weekend plans kept on changing. First a boy scout camping trip was cancelled, then soccer was cancelled. But then we ended up being able to visit some relatives who were here for the weekend at my parents. that was fun. During the day Saturday, Laura and I went out and bought items for upcoming events, costume accessories, material, birthday presents. We stopped at a store which had several craft projects going on so Laura was able to do a few of those. We also picked up her Dolphin she painted at the pottery place a few weeks ago. Saturday evening we went over to my parents house. My aunt, uncle and cousin were visiting from NJ. After dinner, there was a huge trick or treat event near my parents so we took the kids there. Anthony ws red Spiderman, Joey, Black Spiderman, Laura a VA Tech cheerleader, Allen wore a black graduation gown and Joey had a mask on his head. They got tons of candy. Joey and Joe did a spooky walk(which turned out not so spooky) also. Later we brought Joey back to our house to spend the night. Allen started a fire about 11 at night for us all. The boys had a good time. It was a late night!! The next morning we went to 9 am mass. We also got to walk around inside the reconstruction part of the church and they had signs showing us were different areas would go. That was pretty neat to be able to see and picture our new expansion of the church.
