Busy Days

Since my last post, Laura has had her last soccer practice. That night was a parents versus kids game and my husband was actually able to get home in time to participate. Very good, especially since Anthony was in a clingy mood(sleepy) and I couldn't play. Allen and Joey were allowed to play(Allen on parents team, Joe on kid's team). Everyone had alot of fun. The next day, Laura had art class, drama, and then Brownies. She really enjoys all those activities. We are still trying to find her elephant costume for the play she will be in. Wednesday was a more stay at home day till the afternoon. Then we went to Adoration and Pokemon battles. It was a rainy day, great, since we really need the rain. I like the Pokemon battles, it is a good chance for the kids to have fun, and it is neat to watch each of them teaching others how to play the game. Thursday, another rainy day, was light, Laura had drama and Allen had scouts last night. We painted our pumpkins we got at the pumpkin patch. Anthony really took his time and painted it all kinds of colors. Joey painted his all green and kept asking if he had an artists hand(was is so steady?) He said it was becasue it reminded him of grass Pokemon. Laura drew a small face in pencil, carvedit out(totally by herself) and painted it red and purple. Allen liked the Pokemon idea and decided to make his a Pokeball. He painted half if it red but didn't finish it. He got distracted by painting himself instead. Which then made necessary a shower which then led to his being done painting for the day. I painted mine all white and put a face on it. It was pretty fun. We came home to join Allen watching the Tech game. I can not believe we lost in the last two minutes!!! We had played so well till then, then gave up 2 touchdowns-unbelievable! Not a good way to end the night but oh well. That's our quick update.
