weekend update

We had a busy weekend(what else is new?)
a had a friend spend the night on Sat. The picture is the fort they built and slept in. They had a great time swimming, playing video games and hanging out. They actually went to bed at a pretty decent hour also. A had hockey practice and then his big game was on Sunday. They lost but played hard. Then we found there was to be an awards cermony later that day so we ended up coming back after L's soccer game. All the kids in his age division got medals. a had a great time. He is ready to do hockey again. My parents showed up for the game also-so that was a nice surprise. L's soccer game went well. Sheis quite a go getter. She accidentally got kicked by someone so that hurt for a short time but then she went full force back into the game. I believe they won. Between chasing J and AJ sometimes it's hard to keep track. So between church, games, ceremony we were gone all day!! Everyone was exhausted -J even fell asleep on the hockey rink during the ceremony! And if you know him then you know that says a lot!
