Monday -almost over

Today was a difficult day with the kids. Everyone was a little out of sorts-I believe lack of sleep(including me so my patience!)was the culprit so hopefully tomorrow will go much smoother. We did our work, ran errands, and played outside. We mailed out the game to our cousin that has been overdue. We went to the library also. J. was asleep so L and A. played a game of chess while I checked out the many books. We are getting ready to study our composer(Beethoven) and artist(Mary Cassatt) of the month. The picture is from Mary Cassatt. It is titled "Children Playing on The Beach". We got it from the www.nga.gov website. Her focus is on mothers and children in her artwork so it is most appropriate as this is the month of Mary. We also got books n Ancient Egypt, the planets and the American Revolution. We had a full load! We love going to the library-only problem is getting our many books back in on time. L. is into reading again. She is really enjoying "GoDog Go" right now. L. had soccer practice. J. and AJ played in the dirt. A is always a helper with L's team. It's great that he wants to do that and is good for him. Well we have had the tv off all day but now the kids are watching a movie and then bed. Tomorrow is another day.
