Thanksgiving

Our Thanksgiving was a beautiful day. Allen had to go in work early that morning. The kids and I had a nice breakfast and talked about things we are thankful for. Allen(who has a little hand washing obsession) said he is grateful for htings easy to scrub off his hands, Laura said for family, Joey said family and Anthony said for letting him watch tv(little tv addict!) They also named other things such as having a home, food, homeschooling, clothes, and toys. Allen made a pumpkin pie to take to my mom's house(second year for him doing that-new tradition?) I made cornbread to share. We got to my parents around 2 and took showers as we still had no hot water. Terri, Nick and Taylor came bringing green bean casserole and sweet potatoes. My parents had turkey, mashed potatoes corn, cranberry sauce and apple pie. We all sat down together and ate. It was the first time my kids have all managed to do that without someone getting up for some reason or another right away. Taylor enjoyed eating the food also. My mo had made little place tags so everyone thought that was cute. After dinner, we looked at the ads, talked alot and watched football. Then we headed home to our house. What a great day!
