Soccer Wrapup/Picture Time

This weekend, Laura and Joey had their last soccer games. Laura scored the first goal for her team and scored another one later on in the game. Her team won. They had a great season. I think they finished in 6th place out of 27 teams. There is a core group on her team that have been together for several season snow and they play well together. Joey also scored 2 goals at his game. Only 3 kids showed up for his game today so they were tired out easily. They didn't win but they had fun. Joey is a very enthusiastic player! He cheers on his team mates and is very active at getting the ball. He got a medal at the end of his game(all U6 kids do) plus his coach bought the kids a little toy-that was nice.

Sunday was a busy day between church, a Little Flowers bake sale, pictures with family and going out to dinner. We stayed up late Saturday to make brownies and chocolate chip cookies for the bake sale. Then on Sunday we went to 9 am Mass. It was very crowded. We stayed around for Laura to help with the bake sale. There were many girls to help but not too many baked goods. Then we drove to Picture People and met my parents, Terri, Nick and Taylor to get a big family picture. My parents bought a big package so we all got a big picture and a family picture and a picture of my parents with the grand kids. We even got a few pictures to give away. The kids did pretty good. Picking out which pictures to get took longer than the actual pictures. We did get some nice shots though. Afterwards we all went to Olive Garden for dinner.
