Arboretum and Splashdown
Thursday was quite a busy day. First we had a homeschool field trip to the arboretum where they had a snake talk. They enjoyed it, saw real snakes, went on a snake hunt and learned about poisonous versus non poisonous snakes. Then it was off to a waterpark. We went to a waterpark and had so much fun!! It was a special rate to get in and only open for 3 hours(which I figured was PLENTY for me and 4 kids!) It was hardly crowded at all. Allen did almost every water slide. I was surprised and really proud that he did that on his own. He usually is very reluctant to do things by himself(but then again he does love the water). Anyways He had a great time. Even Laura did a few slides. She isn't quite tall enough but was allowed to with a life jacket. Joey was quite upset he couldn't do the slides. But he had a great time in the kids sections. Anthony also loved the water. There was a sandy part also so they played in that for a short time also. We went and surprised Allen at work afterwards and went out to dinner. It was a long but fun day!!

T -- Sounds like a great day! I am amazed how you keep up with 4 at the waterslides! The snake activity looked fun for the kids.
Wish we could visit again, soon!
Thanks Patti! Luckily it was not crowded. Send us some new pics when you get a chance. We miss you all!
