Everyday Happenings
We have been pretty busy here over the last few weeks. We are enjoying the warmer weather. The kids are outside a lot more now. They have explored the cow pasture behind our house a few times. Once even packing a picinc lunch and then setting off for a few hours of fun adventure. I have tried another new soup- Butternut Squash. It was quite good and very fun to make. I am enjoying trying new things to make and not worrying if it doesn't come out perfect-that is part of the process. We have gone to the park several times, visited with friends, gone to the dentist(poorAnthony!), gone to the movies(we went to see College Road Trip.) It was cute. These are the moments and days I want to remember- being together, having fun, enjoying our family! Allen(our son) has mowed and weedwacked our lawn already this year. We are getting ready for our garden and making lists of summer projects we want to do around the house. Laura had a Brownie event the other day and had a lot of fun. Allen earned his Totin chip at a Boy Scout event and enjoyed that He had his last basketball game. We are now getting ready for soccer season. Of course there is the not so fun stuff- Anthony battling a stomach bug, Joey breaking out in a rash, Laura getting hurt by neighbor girls and having to talk to the parents, Allen feeling lonely, parents sick and Taylor has been really sick recently, but luckily these all will and do pass quickly.
