Skiing Fun!!

Last week we took a vacation. Allen's parents invited us to a timeshare to ski. We accepted. The kids and I went for the whole week and Allen joined us midweek. We went swimming everyday and to the park. At the park there was still snow on the ground and a few small hills so we all went sledding. What fun!! We enjoyed renting movies, going to the ski lodge, visiting the library, and taking walks. We saved the skiing till Allen came. Then Laura and Joey took the ski wee class. They had a good time. They were the only 2 in the lesson so they got lots out of it. They were able to keep their skis all day. So after the class we all went back to the house for lunch andrest and headed back out later. Allen and Allen enjoyed skiing on the slopes and later helped Laura and Joey. Poor Joey's hands froze though. My husband went up the chairlift several times. Allen wasn't quite ready. The next day, Laura and Joey took the class again. Much more crowded this time but good reinforcement. They both skied down the slopes with the carpet lift. Allen went up 2 times with his dad in the chairlift. That was cool!! We had a lot of fun watching them. Anthony was there part of the time and home with his grandparents part of the time also. They watched the kids so Allen and I got a dinner out together also. On Saturday, Allen, Allen,Laura and I went snow tubing. That was fun. We were able to hold on to each others feet and go down the hills together. It was a 2 hour session and it went by quickly. That was fun for me. It was a good trip and the kids can't wait to go again next year!
