Surprise trip!

Today we went to 7:30 mass. Afterwards the kids and I headed to Baltimoe. It was their Dollar Days weekend. So we decided to go tot he aquarium. It was a riny, foggy drive but by the time we got there, the weather had cleared. We found parking and got all wrapped up since it was chilly. The line was huge at the aquarium but very fast moving. The tickets were for a timed entry. We had some blessings though since instead of having to wait to get in at 1:30, they asked if we wanted to go in right then(11:30). Yes!!! So we went in and spent 3 hours in the aquarium. The sharks were impressive, as well as the seahorses, clownfish, frogs, rainforest area, and the dolphins. The kids asked the dolphin trainers a lot of questions. It was a good time. Even the cafeteria had some dollar deals so we got fries(regular price) and soda, cheeseburger(Allen), pretzels for a dollar each. When we were done with the aquarium, we were almost ready to head home. However Anthony had wanted to see a boat and as our blessings continued we were very close to one. It was the Taney-the last surviving warship from Pearl Harbor. It was also only a dollar to tour so we went around and looked at that. I think my husband would have enjoyed that. We had bought a disposable camera so we did get some pictures-now I need to get them developed! Then it was time to leave. We got a little lost leaving Baltimore but figured it our and turned around and somehow were guided once again to the right path. It was a good decision to goand take this trip!
