Well as usual the days have flown by. We had a terrific Thanksgiving holiday. On Thursday we went to my parents house for dinner. Allen made a pumpkin pie for dessert. He was very proud of it and it was delicious. Taylor celebrated her first Thanksgiving by sleeping through the meal(which was good for Terri!) The kids enjoyed corn, applesauce, biscuits, stuffing. There was a lot of food and we were all filled up(but not to miss out on dessert though!). Friday morning I started a new tradition of going shopping with my kiddo Allen. We had a terrific time together and went to lots of stores and ate breakfast out. It was really fun. We were not in a big rush so although we strted early(4:30 am) we were not out for the "bargains". We shopped till noon and then met Allen and the kids at his parents house. We were able to spend the day there and had a good time catching up with them. Saturday was a big grocery shopping day and then Laura, Anthony and I headed out for a few things. We also watched Virginia Tech beat UVa-Go Hokies!! Sunday was a terrific family day. We all went to church, then out to eat at Friendlys. The kids were great at both places and we really enjoyed the time together. then we did a quick trip to try to find Laura a tire for her bike but so far no luck. The last two days have been fairly slow around here. We watched Taylor last night and it went well. She is so precious and the kids love her.
