Homeschool Graduation

After the boys had soccer(Joey scored 3 goals, Allen's team won!), we went to Mass. Many homeschoolers were there and sat together, so Father could address us during the homily. It was nice. Then we went over to the school for a potluck dinner/academic fair/graduation ceremony. The kids made posters showing some of their favorite things from this year. Joey took some medieval toys and books so he could show his favorite interest. After a good dinner, certificates were handed out to the kids from Father Melmer. Anthony was the first to get called up to the stage. His certificate said for acheievement in cutting and coloring. He was TOO CUTE!! He walked up there and was smiling away and shook Father's hand. Then he stood there, listening to everyone clap for him. Joey went up with the Kindergarten class, even though he is doing first grade subjects also. Laura got recognized for 3rd grade graduation and her polar bear project. Allen got recognized for 5th grade graduation and his Arrow of Light award. We all clapped for each kid and it was LOUD! Everyone is very supportive of each other and makes us so glad to be part of our church homeschool group!
