Anniversary Memories(Catching up)

Well it has been a busy few weeks here. Allen and I took our first trip away from the kids in over 3 years. We were gone 4 nights and 5 days. Honestly, that was a little too long for us. We missed the kids and although we had a good time and were glad for that chance to reconnect, we didn't need that many days away. Howewver, now that we are back, it is hard to believe we were ever gone. We went to Atlantic City. We did lots of walking-to stores, up and down the boardwalk, and on the beach. We went to see a show-"Tony and Tina's Wedding". We went on our anniversary(15 years married, 20 together!) so that was really cool. It was a funny show, very interactive and for adults. We got dinner(chicken parmesan, salad and of course wedding cake!) There was lots of dancing and entertainment. It was a fun evening. On Friday, we went shopping, bought a gift for each of the kids and ate lunch at Rainforest Cafe. On Saturday, we went to breakfast, walkedon the beach and headed to my Aunt's house. Allen went to see Rush, Saturday night while I visited with my aunt and uncle. It was a really nice visit. Sunday morning we got early and headed back to my parents house. We had a bbq there and then headed home with the kids. It was a very nice Anniversary week.

The kids had a lot of fun at their grandparents' houses. Allen went to his dad's parents for 2 dys before joining everyone at my parents house. They went shopping, out to eat, swimming at the lake, to the movies(saw Kung Fu Panda) and played with the neighbor. They all had a pretty good time there.
