Today Laura and Joey had their 6 month dentist checkup- no cavities for either!! Yeah!!! Thank goodness.
Afterwards, we went to the park and played at the playground, fed the ducks and geese crackers, took a short nature trail and played some more. They collected rocks, looked at different types of leaves and Allen sharpened a few sticks with his pocketknife.
We went to the library and signed up for their summer reading program. The kids played in the backyard, in the water, and Allen made a small fire to show us what he learned this weekend.
We are a Catholic homeschooling family. We have 4 kids. My oldest A(ds) is 12, L(dd)is 9, J(ds) is 7 and AJ(ds) is 4. We enjoy learning more about each other everyday and finding out what works best for our family. We enjoy reading books aloud, taking walks and having fun. This blog is to share with family and friends what we are up to.
