Another Field Trip

Yesterday, we went to DC to tour the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. I called my mom at the last minute to see if she would watch Anthony and she said yes. Then Joey decided he would rather stay home also. So Laura, Allen and I headed to the metro into DC. It was a COLD day!! We stopped at the Forestry building and saw a Smoky the Bear exhibit. Then we headed over for our tour. It was pretty interesting to see where and how the money is made. We all enjoyed it very much. After the tour, we headed over to meet my mother in law for lunch at her work which was nearby. It was a great visit. The kids liked eating in the cafeteria and seeing where their grandmom worked. We had a nice visit for about an hour, then headed home.
