Last week went pretty well for our schooling. Coop classes started. Allen is taking science and history. Laura is doing science, art and music. Allen sat in her art class also. At home we are still going with our partly established schedule and that is working well.
A brief overview of what we have done the last few weeks:
religion-the ten commandments, prayers, review upcoming gospel and weekly feast days, saints
math-geometry, Laura and Joey some geometry, some other workbook topics
history-Allen-American Revolution, Laura and Joey - ancient Egypt
science- Allen- nature, Laura and Joey -astronomy
english- nouns-compound nouns, rules for making plural nouns
writing/spelling- Allen and Laura copy and dictation work, Joey -copy sentence a day
reading-Joey-Dick and Jane, Laura Seton 4th grade, Allen- Farmer Boy
Latin-up to lesson 4 at this time
